Ophthalmologist- Richmond, VA

We are seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Ophthalmologist with a valid license in Virginia who strongly emphasizes quality of care and is capable of independent decision-making. As an Ophthalmologist, you will lead all clinical aspects of the center to ensure the best patient care for all General Ophthalmology, Refractive, Cataract, Retina, and Glaucoma patients.

In our unique business model, Optometrists will practice with the supervising Ophthalmologist. You will perform comprehensive eye exams and imaging tests and analyze test results. You will also handle eye care emergencies and perform cataract surgery, lasers, and minor procedures. Optometrists will assist in pre-and post-operative care.

They focus on high-quality patient care and building relationships. Our bottom-up management style means we work with you rather than at you. They have 48 clinics, including satellites, some with optical, and five surgery centers, and are currently the largest eyecare provider in Virginia. Depending on location and size of practice, our OD’s typically see 30 patients per day, and our MDs will see 45 or more depending on subspecialty.
