Job Description
Seeking someone with personality, intelligence, work ethic, drive, and a desire to become one of the top ophthalmic techs in the US. You will work alongside the doctors who practice at the forefront of the profession. You will become proficient at fitting and designing medically necessary contact lenses, refraction, dry eye procedures, genetic testing, and assisting with advanced procedures such as cryosurgery, amniotic membranes, etc. COA, COMT, or CLSA certification a huge plus. Optique is a unique practice in a cool town that concentrates on medically necessary lenses and practicing at the forefront of optometry. Some of the other interesting things we do are allergy percutaneous testing and treatment, amniotic membranes, genetic testing, dispensing prescription pharmaceuticals, myopia management, dedicated dry eye center, cryosurgical procedures, research studies, etc. Dr. Jeffrey Sonsino helps pioneer many of the technologies that are in use in anterior segment practice today. This practice also participates in the leadership of optometry, hosting both local politicians and federal politicians to lobby for patients' and optometry's interests.
