Job Description
We are seeking a Surgery Counselor for a busy Ophthalmology group in the St. Petersburg, FL, area.
You would be responsible for discussing cataract and refractive surgery options with patients, focusing on their lifestyle needs while exploring the different options and benefits of each.
Direct experience as a Surgery Counselor is desirable but not essential; however previous work experience in the eye care field of Ophthalmology/Optometry is required.
This position would suit someone who is a true "people-person" who excels at making patients feel comfortable and at ease while being able to explain the features and benefits of all options available. Previous experience in a sales-oriented role would be a plus.
