Job Description
We are looking for Optometrists seeking to take their career to the next level with a remarkable ophthalmology practice in Las Cruces, NM! The practice is well-known for its highly skilled team of ophthalmologists, optometrists, opticians, and technicians who provide medically focused and clinically integrated eye care services that prioritize the health and development of their patient's eyes.
As an Optometrist with this practice, you will be responsible for providing patient care related to contact lenses, the diagnosis and treatment of anterior segment disease, and managing common ocular diseases such as glaucoma, cataracts, macular degeneration, retinal disorders, diabetic eye problems, and ocular surface diseases. Additionally, you will participate in the co-management of surgical cataract patients by providing patient education, pre-operative considerations & evaluations, and post-operative care.
The practice offers a competitive compensation package (for full-time OD) of $140k - $170k annually, commensurate with experience and an incentive bonus based on collections. You will also receive medical and dental insurance, malpractice insurance, vacation, CME leave, and a retirement plan. The practice covers state license fees and offers more benefits to ensure a well-rounded experience.
