About the Position
This exceptional practice offers super flexible scheduling, where you would see anywhere from 2 to 4 patients per hour, depending on what you feel comfortable seeing. Whether new or seasoned, the owner is extremely supportive and would love to help you.
The office is equipped with digital lanes and Optos to assist the patients better, plus 1 to 2 technicians for added assistance to help with the preliminary testing. Please reach out to us today to learn more about this opportunity.
Optometrist responsibilities include analyzing vision tests, identifying sight problems, and prescribing corrective lenses and eyeglasses. To be successful in this role, you should have attention to detail and be able to treat all kinds of patients with kindness and discretion, from young children to the elderly.
To qualify for this role, you must be state-licensed, or in the process of obtaining your license, and possess in-depth knowledge of eye-related disorders, conditions, and treatment. The ideal candidate will be customer service-oriented with excellent analytical and communication skills.
This job requires candidates to be able to perform duties that include, but are not limited to, the following:
Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) degree.
Must possess a state-issued license for the practice of optometry.
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
In-depth knowledge of eye-related disorders and conditions.
Patient service-oriented with exceptional analytical skills.
